Over several years of litigating family law cases in court, I’ve seen the mental and emotional toll it can take on people. Fortunately, many family law cases can be resolved through mediation. In addition to my litigation practice, I provide mediation services for all types of family law cases.
Mediation is an opportunity to settle your case without going to Court. During this process, the parties and their attorneys meet to negotiate a potential settlement. The mediator is a neutral third party who helps resolve disputes by facilitating discussion, reducing misunderstanding, and identifying potential solutions. There are countless advantages to mediation. In mediation, you have control over the outcome, and the agreement can be more creative and more detailed than a typical Court order. Mediation is also quicker, less expensive, and less stressful than going to trial.
I offer mediation services at my office or at another office of your choice. For certain cases, I also conduct mediation via a virtual platform such as Zoom. Please contact us at office@deckardlawllc.com for additional information.
